FC Dynamo Moscow announce the contract signing with Konstantin Rausch from the German side 1. FC Köln.

Konstantin was born in Kozhevnikovo (Tomsk Oblast), Russia. When he was 6 years old, his family immigrated to Germany where Rausch started his career. He swapped Lachendorf and Nienhagen football centers for Hannover 96 Academy. Hannover can be considered a point of departure for Rausch´s professional career. He played for VfB Stuttgart, SV Darmstadt 98 and 1. FC Köln as well.

Konstantin represented Germany on youth level, but, according to him, he was always ready to become Russian international in case of an invitation. Finally he got it in August last year. After FIFA had given him official authorization to change sports citizenship, Rausch made his debut in Russia national team in October 2017. The Dynamo newcomer has already 4 matches to his name for the national squad.

Yevgeny Muravyov, Director General:
- We continue to make our team stronger by the spring part of the Russian Championship. We had similar interests with the player – Konstantin wanted to come back to Russia in order to be in the limelight of the national team coaching staff on the eve of the home World Cup. In their turn Dynamo are interested in a skillful football player who can bring us to a new level. So we are glad that Konstantin Rausch joined Dynamo. I hope we made the right choice together.
