K11 is an innovative program created by Nike. It is based on search and selection of young football players throughout Russia with the support of professional clubs, players and coaches. What does it mean K11? K is the first letter of the word «korobka» (in English – box) which is the home ground for all boys playing in the yard. «11» denotes the number of players featuring in the starting lineup.
The program starts since July 23rd and will last till October 2016. You can come as a part of the team to one of the K11 football digital grounds in Moscow or Saint Petersburg or you can share your video demonstrating your own football skills in social networks. In this case don’t forget to use the hashtag #Levelset. Scouts will watch hundreds of hours of content from all over the country and choose the best 100 players. A large All-Russian selection will take place in late August. 22 finalists are to be selected out of the hundred. They will get a unique opportunity to train at the Nike training camp.
The program will be concluded by the first professional game of the K11 team. The best scouts and coaches from Russian and foreign academies will watch the final. The best players will get the chance to go on trial to clubs and to sign a professional contract.
