23-year-old left back Igor Kalinin signed a three-year contract with Dynamo. The previous club of our third newcomer was FC Rubin Kazan. Igor was born in Kerch and is a product of Sevastopol Football Academy. He played for Ukrainian sides – FC Mariupol, earlier known as FC Illichivets, FC Zorya Luhansk, FC Zirka Kropyvnytskyi and for Russian clubs – FC Volgar Astrakhan and FC Krasnodar. Since 2014 the player holds Russian citizenship.
Kalinin made his Premier League debut on the 2nd of April, 2018 in the home match against Anzhi Makhachkala. Last season the left back played eight matches for Rubin Kazan, scored one goal and made two assists.
