In the Russian Premier League the first international break came about. FC Dynamo Moscow released 7 players to the national teams.
The goalkeeper Anton Shunin and the left-back Konstantin Rausch were called up to the Russia national team. Anton has not received any call for six years. Shunin was on international duty in 2012 when he had joined the EURO-2012 final squad. He played only two matches for the national team of Russia. Rausch is coming back after the back injury that left him behind FIFA World Cup Russia 2018. By now Konstantin made 5 appearances for the national team. Russia will face Turkey (Senol Günes Spor Kompleksi Yeni Stadyum – Trabzon, 07/09/2018, 21.45) in the UEFA Nations League and Czech Republic in a friendly match (Rostov-Arena – Rostov-on-Don, 10/09/2018, 19.00). Dynamo masseurs Nikolay Larin and Runis Burkhanov also got an international call.
Wingers Vyacheslav Grulyov and Danil Lipovoy, the centre-back Roman Yevgenyev as well joined Russia U-20 team headed by Mikhail Galaktionov. The young Russians are going to a short-term training camp in Croatia from September 3rd to September 8th. During this camp the U-20 team will play two friendly matches against local clubs. The matches are to be held on the 5th and 7th of September in the town of Čakovec.
Toni Šunjić was called up to the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (33 matches – 1 goal). The Bosnians will face Northern Ireland (Windsor Park – Belfast, 08/09/2018, 16.00) and Austria (Stadion Bilino polje – Zenica, 11/09/2018, 21.45) in the UEFA Nations League.
Fiodor Černych (40 matches – 8 goals) got a call to the Lithuania national team for UEFA Nations League games against Serbia (LFF stadionas – Vilnius, 07/09/2018, 21.45) and their geographic neighbors from Montenegro (Gradski Stadion Podgorica – Podgorica, 10/09/2018, 21.45).
We have to remind that Vladimir Moskvichyov, Bogdan Zorin and Svyatoslav Tses are already at Andrey Gordeev’s disposal in the Russia U-19 team that are taking part in Valentin Granatkin Memorial.
The rest of Dynamo players have got three days off and will gather at Novogorsk training ground on Thursday. We remind you that on Sunday on the 9th of September the White-Blues will play a friendly match against FC Yenisey at VTB Novogorsk Dynamo training ground.
