In the Russian Premier League the second international break came about. FC Dynamo Moscow released 11 players to the national teams.  

The goalkeeper Anton Shunin, the left-back Konstantin Rausch and two Dynamo masseurs Nikolay Larin and Runis Burkhanov were called up again to the Russia national team. Stanislav Cherchesov's men will play two UEFA Nations League matches – against Sweden in Kaliningrad (Thursday, 11/10/2018, 21.45 Moscow time) and against Turkey in Sochi (Sunday, 14/10/2018, 19.00 Moscow time). Last time Shunin and Rausch had got calls to the national team, but Dynamo’s goalkeeper was not given again any play time. In turn, Konstantin took part in both matches and made two assists against Czechs. Russia national team are leading now in their Group 2 of the League B having three points and a 2:1 goal difference.

Four Dynamo players – goalkeeper Ivan Zirikov, centre-back Roman Yevgenyev who made his debut in the Russian Premier League last Saturday in Samara, defensive midfielder Viktor Demyanov and right winger Danil Lipovoy – joined Russia U-20 team which is headed by Mikhail Galaktionov. The Russians will hold a training camp in Spain, where they will play two friendly matches against Scandinavian teams – Sweden (October 10th) and Denmark (October 15th).

Toni Šunjić received a traditional call to the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (35 matches – 1 goal). This Balkan team have to play only one UEFA Nations League match against Austria in Vienna (Monday, 15/10/2018, 21.45 Moscow time). Both countries have already faced each other in Sarajevo in September, and then Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated their opponents by 1:0. This result allows them to top League B Group 3. On the 11th of October the Bosnians are going to play a friendly against Turkey in Rize.

The Lithuanian national team that failed to start well during their UEFA Nations League campaign will try to bounce back in two home matches: against Romania (Vilnius, 11/10/2018, 21.45 Moscow time) and Montenegro (Vilnius, 14/10/2018, 21.45 Moscow time). Their captain Fiodor Černych is to help his teammates accomplish this task.

Finally, three Dynamo young players – defenders Bogdan Zorin and Svyatoslav Tses, as well as midfielder Vladimir Moskvichyov – are invited to the youth national team that unites footballers born in 2000. This age group is headed by Andrey Gordeev. The Russians have to play two away friendlies against peers from Serbia, which will be held on the 11th and 13th of October. Both fixtures’ kick-off time is scheduled at 15.00 (Moscow time).
